Fabric is the most important factor when you choose a proper dress. Most of the occasion dresses are made of cotton, silk, chiffon, taffeta or light diaphanous fabrics as long as they are light, so you can move freely. Wearing a silk in Christmas might be a bit cold, but it's worth catching the focus of the attendants. Chiffon is a regular choice for most of occasion dress. One of the popular is the one-shoulder chiffon dress,. With the pain fabric and a hemline, it can express femininity and gentleness, whereas an overly bright color can be overwhelming for the eyes and does not match the mood and the suggested time.

On the other hand, if you are invited to a formal wedding party, you'd better wear a outfit with a little short cocktail dress, or an outfit with a neutral-toned top and white skirt. Avoid to wear the punchy green or red dress or the same color as the bride, it can easily bring an uncomfortable visional impact in a white wedding party. Not mention it will make the bride and groom embarrassed. For an evening party, go to town and look stunning in a red figure-hugger! You can even choose bright colors or big geometric patterns and still get away with it because it is evening. Think aqua with black and white, or even fluorescent hot pink. Don't forget if you make these choices in the clothing, then mute down the make up.

If you are going to have a romantic date with your boyfriends or hubby on Christmas Eve, try to opt some feminine pastel shade or short chiffon dress,. Don't dress too flirty – one-shoulder styles are OK, though. Wearing a proper occasion dress  involves a lot of fashion sense. If you know what to wear at which times then you are not going to make a spectacle out of yourself. In general, soft and feminine for formal and daring and dramatic for dances and other evening events is the way to go.
